They don't fight "like cats and dogs"; in fact they get along just fine.

I'm a 69 year old English teacher living with my wife, & our 2 dogs and 1 cat in Santa Fe, New Mexico. I'm a Vietnam vet, USMC 1963-1967, Chu Lai, Vietnam, 1965-66. I have an MA in English Ed., and I've spent most of my teaching career abroad: 3/4 of a year in Shiraz, Iran (my timing was bad - I arrived in '78 just about 1/2 a year before the "Islamic Revolution."I lived & worked in Saudi Arabia for 19 years (not continuously - I took some breaks in a vain attempt to preserve my sanity), 4 years in Jeddah, 15 in Riyadh, teaching English for the Institute of Public Administration. In between my stints there, I lived/worked in Jakarta, Indonesia (2 years) and have taught all levels (elementary - college) in the States, in FL, CO, CA, KS, MO & NM.I've been teaching ESL & Critical Reading at Santa Fe Community College since I returned from Saudi in 2003. I'm also tutoring students in Europe (independently, not for a company) via Skype and here in Santa Fe, as well.
